Le ministère saoudien du Hajj et de la Omra a annoncé mercredi qu’il porterait la capacité des pèlerins de la Omra à 70 000 par jour, à partir du jeudi 9 septembre.
« En mettant l’accent sur la mise en œuvre de mesures de précaution, le ministère du Hajj et de la Omra, en coordination avec les autorités compétentes, porte la capacité quotidienne à 70 000 pèlerins », a déclaré le ministère dans un tweet.
Les personnes qui souhaitent participer à la Omra dans la ville la plus sainte de l’Islam, La Mecque, peuvent réserver des demandes via l’application de suivi COVID-19 de l’Arabie saoudite, Tawakkalna.
Le mois dernier, le ministère a annoncé qu’il commencerait à recevoir progressivement les demandes d’Omra de divers pays à partir du 9 août, a rapporté l’agence de presse saoudienne officielle (SPA).
Le ministère augmentera également progressivement la capacité pour atteindre 2 millions de pèlerins par mois.
Les permis seront délivrés via les applications mobiles Eatmarna et Tawakkalna, dans le cadre d’un système intégré de services et de mesures préventives, prises par le Royaume pour la sécurité et la santé de ceux qui souhaitent effectuer les rituels de la Omra et de la Ziyarah.
Le ministère a également confirmé qu’il accorderait des permis nationaux de la Omra aux pèlerins âgés de 12 à 18 ans qui ont reçu deux doses du vaccin COVID-19, selon un communiqué.
